These words are from Danny:

We have Mum’s permission to share this story and photos.

When we gather together at Good Souls we want to make a difference in our own lives, we want to make a positive difference in the lives of each other.

That’s what happens when Good Souls gather.

We also want to make a difference in our wider community too. A difference that can be felt on a personal level.

Meet these two smiley boys!

When we had an opportunity to sponsor these brothers to attend a nature based outdoor education project we contributed wholeheartedly.

The smiles speak a thousand words, but the joy doesn’t end there. Their Mum wrote a lovely thank you to the Good Souls that clearly expressed the positive impact their contribution made:

“So, what can we say? The boys had the time of their lives!!!

For our eldest son, he talks about the team games out in the woods and building with Tony.

He loved learning how to track the deer, the campfire cooking and building his own fire.

Our youngest son’s best bits were the game of capture the flag, story times and roasting marshmallows.

Both the boys loved foraging for nettles and Himalayan Balsam and just being in the woods.

We would just like to say a big thank you for the Good Souls group who sponsored the boys and to you Danny and all the team at Communitree who made it such a wonderful experience for all the children. Just wish us Mummy’s and Daddy’s got to play in the mud too!

The boys were tearful on the journey home after the last day and really hope to return again.

You have two huge fans who have started to pass on what foraging skills they have learnt to their friends.
